Chicago, a must see architecture

Published by Ju Moody

Chicago is great !

Conclusion : Je reviendrai !!!

The Loop is gorgeous blending with elegance and intelligence buildings of different styles, sizes and ages. The architecture is definitely a must see in Chicago. By the way, for all of those who plan to visit the city, I would strongly recommend to go for an architecture walking tour with Hillary. I don’t often go for a guided tour, but here it is worth it. The tour lasts about 1h30 and Hillary will make you discover the finest buildings from their best perspective, tell you their story and unravel their tiniest details. And she is super sweat! www.insidechicagowalkingtours.com and http://myweeklybuilding.wordpress.com

Chicago is also about its numerous residential neighbourhoods (Ukrainian Village, Wicker Park, Bucktown, Lincoln Park, Lincoln Square, Wrigleyville where the Cubs play, etc.) where you could find very good bars and restaurants. People enjoy the outdoor life on the terraces, in the parks or on the Michigan Lake, and they talk and smile to each other easily. In a word, life seems to be very pleasant over here.

Chicago was one of the three US cities that I wanted to explore, but I have omitted this tiny detail when I organised my conquest to the West in 10 minutes 5 days in advance… Conclusion: I will be back!!!
