Thailand (25/02/14 - 05/03/14)

Further to very nice flight from Colombo to Bangkok during which I have not slept a wink... I have had no trouble passing through the customs unlike some would have expected. I have then waited for 4 long hours before taking the next flight to Krabi, where I litterally jumped into a bus to Koh Lanta for a journey of almost 3 more hours including two ferry boats. This was a little bit long and tiny, but no possible comparison to Sri Lanka's experiences, and I have had the chance to meet a Scottish couple living in Nuremberg. He has his own company employing his son and a third guy, and he stops business during the three months in winter to go backpacking around the world with his wife... Is anyone interested???

Eventually, I arrived on stunning beach, Klong Khong, located on the west coast of the island and which thus offers beautiful sunset on the Andaman Sea. Enjoy the pics! The only slight drawback was that the water was a little bit to warm... :)

Thailandese people are indeed quite smily and rather keen on partying.

I have spent a terrific week writing in this little peace of paradise, where I have seen beautiful sunsets - I have not been missing one - have had good cocktails and local beers, and have met nice people...
